Love’s Paradox

“The love we give away is the only love we keep.” ~ Elbert Hubbard
I was looking for something to lift my spirits today, and I ran into this quote, which I loved immediately.  But then an hour later, in a totally different context I ran into Hubbard again, a name I’d never heard before.  This time his quote was “love grows by giving,” which is rather in the same vein.
Obviously a message I needed today. Not sure why, as I was actually stressing about money, a very common situation for many, I know. Perhaps a reminder that all I need is love? I will be puzzling about this all day, of course.
Maybe it was a nudge that today’s blog needed to remind people of the paradox of love? Not sure.
But let’s just give away our love and see what happens.
