For a Better You

“Be at War with your Vices, at Peace with your Neighbours, and let every New Year find you a better [hu]man.”~ Benjamin Franklin in Poor Richard’s Almanac, 1755

Sounds like a good plan for a better me. Franklin was one of America’s first “self help gurus” (a title I use tongue-in-cheek, believe me).  But the advice he gave in Poor Richard’s was very much about how to develop one’s self to be the best person possible.

I like the idea of constantly striving to be a better person, which on some levels is one of the goals of this blog–to help people develop themselves.

So he’s to a better you and me in the new year.

All the best for a productive 2014!
