A Goodbye and a Resolution

“Let our New Year’s resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word.” ~Hans Göran Persson

As I sit here getting ready to say goodbye to 2013, I read this and thought it was lovely. Persson is a former Prime Minister of Sweden, and in fact he was in charge when I lived there, so a little shout out to my former home, Sverige.

A lot of us are taking stock today–of our lives, of the passing year. I had a rough one, but when I think about it, I had an abundance of joy and blessings for which I am truly thankful.  I’ve experienced much love and support from friends, family and even strangers. I bless them all and thank them for being in my life. Yes, even the strangers!

On this last night of the year, I’d like to say thank you and bless you to all who read this. May 2014 be a year of wonder, growth, bounty, health and enlightenment.

With much love from me.
