Fighting the Good Fight

“You don’t just give up. You don’t just let things happen. You make a stand! You say no! You have the guts to do what’s right, even when everyone else just runs away.” ~ Rose Tyler, Companion.  As written by Russell T Davies.

This gutsy speech by the Doctor’s companion, Rose, pretty much sums up the best way to live.  Well, I think it’s the best way, but I understand that it’s also one of the hardest ways to live.

Someone has to be the one who stands up for what’s right.  Too many of us think, “well, someone else will take care of it.” But often, no one does.

And I find there are so many battles, so much injustice, and we can’t take point every single time.  It’s gets so tiring.

But may I recommend listening to Rose, and the next time something bad happens in front of you, take a stand. Be the one to stand up and say no. It will be hard, but it will be right.
