To Everything There is a Season

“The universe has to move forward. Pain and loss, they define us as much as happiness or love. Whether it’s a world, or a relationship… Everything has its time. And everything ends.” ~ Sarah Jane Smith, Companion. As written by Toby Whithouse

These words contain such timeless wisdom. Endings have to happen. We don’t like them, but how we handle them defines who we are.

Lately, I have heard of a slew of losses–but they wouldn’t be losses if people hadn’t loved.  And love is worth the sting of loss, every single time.

Endings are sad, I know. But every ending is also a beginning, and where would we be without beginnings?
