I can say no when I must.
No gets a bad rap these days. People only want to hear YES. But for many of us, saying NO is too hard, so we don’t do it. As a r esult, we get bogged down with obligations we don’t need and that can even be harmful to us.
Sometimes we don’t say no because we want to accommodate others and be the “nice” person. We put others first instead of ourselves.
Sometimes we are challenged by others, and we’re too stubborn to say “no”. How many times have I hurt myself because I was too thick-headed to say to someone else: “No, that’s not a good idea!”
Saying NO is okay sometimes!
